Chose a vacation destination somewhere in the world. Find a real photo (not previously illustrated) that represents the chosen location. Used Adobe Illustrator tools and skills learned in Vector Illustration class to create a digital illustration based on the photo of your chosen destination. Had to use layers that were named correctly, use vector shapes, colors, and gradients. I Learned more about using the pen tool, Image Trace and the Live Paint Tool.
Had to create a flyer to advertise your favorite animal care products, treats, or food for dogs. And had to make sure to keep files together and don't break file links. Had to include one image of high resolution quality, Product title, Brief product description, At least one graphic element, Bullet pointed important facts, Add a sales discount, Use the proper hierarchy of typography and content, Include the company website, and have balance in the design from top to bottom. Used Indesign to create this flyer.

Had to pull content from the websites to fill in the brochure. For this assignment only, you may copy and paste text, however, make sure the text flows and makes sense as a whole. The main goal is to understand the importance of the content chosen as well as the brochure layout. Had to Include a front cover, attention-grabbing information on the folding panel, contact information on the back panel, substantial information with headers on the inside three panels. Use a font that matches the brand or concept of the content being developed and Use appropriate color palettes.
Chose and create a two-sided direct mailer with the front side having a solid visual hierarchy and a color palette representing the company brand.The back of the mailer needs to include information about what is offered from the company that will attract the company's target audience and have a call-to-action feature to route people (i.e., typically a link to the company's site or specific location on the site). Understand the basics of using InDesign, design hierarchy, and direct mailer layout.

I developed an understanding of typography through your typographer research. In understanding more about the importance of typography, you will now develop a poster based on the typography (typeface or font) you researched using Adobe Illustrator. Use only the font that I researched. Display the full alphabet of the chosen font, Display the numbers 1-0, Listed the Typographers name and the date of the font's development, Arranged negative space wisely and make sure to creatively fill the poster and used different font sizes and weights. Designed this poster in Adobe Illustrator.
